Know Before you Go!

Missed Clinical/Lab:

As a student-run organization, we understand the great challenge of missing clinical or lab time to attend a conference for your professional advancement. Please don't hesitate to reach out to Conference coordintor (conference@cnsa.ca) if you're in need of a letter of support to send to instructors, faculty, or deans. 


Fashion Statements:

We encourage you to dress business casual for the conference. This is not a requirement, nor an expectation but what traditionally has been the norm. 


 

Food to expect:

  • Wednesday:

    • Kitchen Party: appetizers 

  • Thursday: 

    • Morning Break: light snacks/pastries

    • Lunch: buffet

    • Afternoon: coffee and tea 

  • Friday:

    • Morning Break: light snacks/pastries

    • Lunch: buffet

    • Afternoon: coffee and tea 

  • Saturday:

    • Morning Break: coffee and tea

    • Lunch: buffet

    • Dinner: buffet

Free Bus Transportation:

CNSA is happy to offer, in partnership with Halifax Transit, free access to all Halifax Transit services from January 28th, 2025 to February 2nd, 2025 for conference attendees. This includes the Airport Express Bus from Halifax Stanfield International Airport to downtown Halifax.

To use, simply show your conference name badge when boarding, and you will be provided with free entry (a pdf version of the badge has been sent out to all conference attendees via the WHOVA app, for use before conference check in and receiving the physical badge).
